Pump Application:

This SLD range of heavy duty cast iron submersible slurry pumps are suitable for construction industry and general industrial use.   These pumps can be used for pumping liquids containing abrasive particulars such as sludge, mud and betonite.   Ideal for mining, quarries, sewage treatment plants and foundation dewatering work.   Fitted with a wear resistant chromium steel agitator, impeller and inlet wear plate for a long and efficient life.   Easy to install with a sturdy suction hose.   Complete with a Sic-Sic/ Sic-Sic mechanical seal contained in an oil chamber and includes a heavy duty 4 pole ball bearing motor.

The driving motor is an asynchronous, closed squirrel cage type, designed for continuous duty.

-         With in-built thermo-amperometric protection in motors up to 4kw

-         Class of insulation F.

-         Degree of protection: IP68

-         Maximum number of start-ups: 20 per hour

-         Cable length: 10m



The pump is best used in an upright position for maximum suction capacity, however can also be used in a horizontal position if required. This pump can be used when partially out of the water.   However do not run your pump dry – refer to the instruction manual for details.   To prevent damage, use a rope or chain to position and retrieve your pump – never use the electric cable for this purpose.



Don’t use this pump for recirculating or filtering pools, spas, etc.   While these pumps are built to a high safety standard, they are not approved for installations where people will be in the water while they are operating.
