ACQUASAVER mains to rainwater switch

ACC-2

AcquaSaver water switches application: The Finsbury Powamac “AcquaSaver” is an automatic and an economic “mains to rainwater” changeover switch.    This near indestructible mechanical changeover switch is suitable and approved for domestic and commercial systems where rainwater is harvested and used inside the property.     When the rainwater runs out, the system automatically switches back to mains water.      When the tanks have been recharged by a rain shower or two, the system will also switch back to rainwater. This Australian designed and manufactured mechanical water switch has few moving parts and is made from durable brass fittings.     Virtually maintenance free and durable for a long service life.   Performance data: Performance data is based on a kinematic viscosity value of 1mm² and a density of 1000 Kg/m³ at 20 degrees C. -         Test Pressure: 800kpa. -         Maximum working pressure: 800kpa. -         Maximum water temperature: 80 degrees C. -         Nominal outlet size: 20mm or 3/4” BSP property supply. -         Nominal mains inlet size: 20mm or 3/4” BSP. -         Nominal rainwater inlet size: 25mm or 1” BSP. -         Weight: 2.2Kg. -         Packing dimensions: 300 x 300 x 100mm.   Installation and use: Installation and commissioning of the AcquaSaver water switch must be in accordance with all local and federal water connection regulations and should be carried out by a registered plumber.     The AcquaSaver can be mounted directly on a Finsbury Powamac water supply pump or can be mounted permanently against a solid wall or firm structure.

Fire Hose Reels

ACC-8

Hose reel application: The hose reel comes complete with 36m of 19mm hose, brass twist fire nozzle (stream to fog), ball valve, galvanized barrel union, mounting bracket with dove tail slide for ease of mounting. Hose reel is suitable and approved for fixed and mobile fire protection applications, also useful for general wash down and water transfer applications. Performance data:   Performance curves are based on a kinematic viscosity value of 1mm²/s and a density of 1000 Kg/m³ at 20ºC. Test Pressure: 2000kpa. -          Working pressure: 1500kpa -          Nominal hose length: 36m. -          Nominal hose diameter: 19mm -          Minimum discharge rate: 0.45L/sec @ 220kpa. -          Packing dimensions: 330 x 500 x 610mm.   Installation: f   Installation and commissioning of hose reels must be in accordance with AS2441. To be mounted vertically against a solid wall or firm structure.

RAINAID mains to rainwater switch

ACC-1

Description: The RainAid valve is designed to be connected to the mains water supply on a rainwater collection tank.    It will provide a backup supply of water in the event of demand exceeding rain supply.   Operating principle Under normal conditions, rainwater will fill the tank.    If the rainwater level drops below a pre-set level, the RainAid valve will open to maintain the water level using the mains water supply. The rainwater tank is used to supply water to non potable outlets such as the toilets, laundry and garden.     There is a 100mm differential between the open and closed positions of the RainAid Valve.   Specifications Inlet 20mm 3/4" BSP (male). Cold mains pressure water connection. Working pressure: 55-1000kPa (8-150 psi). Maximum water temperature 60 degree. Supplied with inlet strainer.   Installation -         Valve must be installed horizontally. -         Do not install on an angle. -         Do not restrict inlet water flow. -         No to be modified -         Not to be used in dual purpose tanks used for stormwater detention. -         N.B Some Australian states stipulate a minimum water level that must be maintained for fire fighting purposes. -         Overflow and air gap to comply with local standards (air gap of 55mm complies with AS/NZS 3500.1).
