Chemical Drum Pump

Pump application: These Italian Carbuset pumps are ideal for use across a range of chemical transfer applications including in the agriculture and general industries.   Specification: These AP40 centrifugal electric pumps are driven by a double-insulated motor. This characteristic enables the operator to work in complete safety also in the case of short circuiting. Other safety devices include a built-in antisiphon system which, if the supply tube or the dispenser gun is accidentally damaged, stops the liquid contained in the drum from spilling out. The pump is made out of a plastic body with high mechanical properties, NBR seals and stainless steel vanes and fasteners. These characteristics allow liquid to be transferred without any risk of corrosion. The pump comes in kit form which includes the supply and suction tubes, the filter, the handgrip and anything else that is needed for quick assembly and use. The chemical pump is suitable for transferring a large range of chemicals including: Diesel oils, Calcium Bisulphite, Calcium Nitrate, Carbon Disulphide, Copper Sulphate, Kerosene, Naptha, Potassium Hydroxide (diluted - cold), Sodium Bicarbonate and Sodium Chloride.   Caution: This pump is not explosion proof and should not be used for petrol and solvents. By pumping such liquids you may create a serious explosion fire hazards and invalidate the warrantees.   Options: A 240v option is also available on application. A "diesel" pump version is available which is suitable for the following substances: Water, mineral and synthetic oil, engine oil, emulsified water, glycols (anti-freeze liquid), dielectric liquid (paraffin), diesel fuel and heating naphtha. Please refer to Tech data sheet CEN-14 for further details.   Performance data: Performance curves are based on a kinematic viscosity value of 1mm²/s and a density of 1000 Kg/m³ at 20ºC. - Pump body screw thread: M64 (2") to fit 44 gallon drum. - Flow rates up to 25 L/min. - Fluids must be clean and free from suspended abrasive particles. - Maximum fluid temperature: +35ºC. - Weight: 3.5kg. - Absorbed power: 110W - Packing dimensions: 400 x 400 x 150mm. - Pump body screw thread: M64 (2") to fit 44 gallon drum. - Normal discharge head: 1m. - Maximum discharge head: 4m for short periods only. - Internal diameter of hose: 17.5mm.   Installation: The pump is ideal for the quick and easy decanting of chemicals from drums, containers and tanks. The pump must never be used when empty. The pump only works in a vertical position. Before connecting the pump to the power supply, ensure that the voltage complies with the limitations indicated. Keep the fuelling lever pressed. Start the pump by repeatedly activating the trigger located on the pump body until the liquid starts flowing from the fuelling gun (repeat this process each time the motor is started or in the case of power failure). Start the motor using the switch and proceed to fuelling. When finished, release the fuelling lever and switch off the motor.

CHEMICAL TANKS

Pump Application: Mobile chemical spot spraying units available in three popular tank size of 250, 400 and 600 liters.    Each tank can be fitted with a 12vDC pump, the larger two tanks can also be fitted with an engine powered diaphragm pump.    The spot spraying pumps are designed for heavy duty and are suitable for rapid spot or herbicide spraying.    With rapid (limited) self priming capabilities, these pump units will start and operate when you want it.    Fitted to a high quality tank, these pumps are easily maintained and built with quality parts for a long service life.     The mobile spot spraying unit comes complete with either a 10 or 40m discharge hose or a spray gun. These tanks can also be mounted on a skid frame which is available as an option.     These are self priming pumps.  

CHEMICAL TRANSFER+SPRAYING PUMP

Pump application: These American Quality Shurflo pumps are ideal for use across a range of chemical transfer applications including in the agriculture and general industries.   Specification: These P8000/8007 series centrifugal electric pumps are driven by a double insulated motor.   This characteristic enables the operator to work in complete safety also in the case of short circuiting.   Other safety devices include a built-in check valve which stops the fluid from flowing back through the pump.    The pump is made out of a sturdy Poly body with high chemical resistance properties, Viton valve seals and a Santoprene diaphragm.    These characteristics allow a large range of liquid to be transferred without any risk of corrosion. The chemical pump is suitable for transferring a large range of chemicals and is the pump of choice for sprayers used on a farm or around the yard.   Caution: This pump is not explosion proof and should not be used for petrol and solvents.    By pumping such liquids you may create a serious explosion, fire hazards and invalidate the warrantees.   Options: Two options are available- P8000-12VDC   The standard demand pump P8007-12VDC   The standard demand pump with a built-in fuse and manual rocker type switch   Performance data: Performance curves are based on a kinematic viscosity value of 1mm²/s and a density of 1000Kg/m³ at 20 degree. -         Flow rates up to 6.8L/min (open flow) -         Maximum discharge head: 41m (60psi) -         Maximum current: 7.3amps -         Fluids must be clean and free from suspended abrasive particles. -         Maximum fluid temperature: +35 degree -         Self priming: self priming to 2.4m -         Internal diameter of hose: 8000 series ½” (with MSPT ports on pump)                                                    8007 series 3/8” (with NPT female ports on pump) -     Can run dry without damage -      Internal bypass and fitted with an internal demand switch set at 41m (60psi)   Installation and use: Caution: Pumping any chemicals is always dangerous, injuries due to splashing of aggressive liquids or chemicals can be avoided by wearing proper protection clothing, which may include coveralls, apron, shoes, goggles, gloves, face mask and hat.
