Air operated diaphragm pumps

POS-13

Pump Application: Our WL series positive displacement diaphragm pumps are designed for continuous duty and suitable for a large variety of food processing and industrial work. These pumps are ideal for the large range of process industries and are made expressly for pumping liquids with abrasive quantities in suspension. With no gland to wear, these pumps have a snoring capability therefore these pumps can be run dry without damage. Solidly constructed with a heavy duty aluminum alloy casings. Available with a Buna N or Neoprene elastomers.   Performance: -           Flow rates up to 12.6m³/h -      Heads up to 88m (125psi) -      Suction heads from 8.53 up to 9.45m (different models) -      Fluid temperature: -12.2 to +82.2ºC for Buna N elastomers -      Fluid temperature: -17.8 to +93.3ºC for Neoprene elastomers. -      Maximum allowable pressure in casing: 9 bar -     Rapid self priming -     These pumps can be run dry -     Will operate on snore -     These pumps will handle abrasive liquids -     Dual diaphragms -     Heavy duty and compact construction.   Application: -          Petrohemicals -          Oil transfer -          Slurry pumping -          Paint manufacturing -          Poultry processing -          Ceramics manufacturing -          Industrial waste water -          Chemical processing -          Abrasive liquid pumping -          Adhesive pumping -          Septic tank cleaning -          Brick manufacturing -          Cement supplies -          Foundries -          Inks and dyes -          Plastic moulding   Drive requirements: These diaphragm pumps are air operated and are therefore has anti freeze and anti stall features. Can be operated with lube – free air distribution systems. Different models have different air supply requirements up to 150cfm.   Installation: It is preferable for this pump is to be installed in a horizontal position. For maximum efficiency use oversized hose or pipe and keep the hose or pipe as short and straight as possible.

Portable diaphragm pumps

POS-5

Pump application:                    Our heavy duty positive displacement diaphragm pump is a true workhorse and designed for continuous duty and suitable for construction and industrial work. These pumps are ideal for the large or small contractor and are made expressly for pumping liquids with abrasive quantities in suspension. Typical applications include trench and worksite dewatering and for manure handling and septic tank cleaning. They will handle up to 30% solids and are positively self priming. With no gland to wear, these pumps have a snoring capability therefore these pumps can be run dry, which is most essential in excavation applications. Solidly constructed with a  heavy duty aluminium alloy casing and inlet / outlets. Available complete with a variety of electric or petrol drive units that are easily maintained for a long service life. Also available without a power drive (Bareshaft).                                                      Performance data:                    Performance curves are based on a kinematic viscosity value of 1mm2/s and a density of 1000 Kg/m3 at 20ºC.                                          - Flow rates up to 75m³/h.                      - Heads up to 9m.                      - Suction heads up to 8m.                      - Maximum fluid temperature: +35ºC.                      - Maximum ambient temperature: +50ºC.                      - Maximum allowable pressure in casing: 2 Bar.                      - Pumping speed: Nominal speed 50rpm.                      - Grease packed self aligning bearings.                      - 3" stroke, adjustable height for long diaphragm life.                      - Rugged welded all steel frame.                      - Tapered bottom bowl for faster priming.                      - Rubber pneumatic wheels for easy hand towing.                      - Chain Drive for positive operation.                      - Available with flap valve or ball valve options.                      - The ball valve options should be used where there are   significant amounts of suspended solids i.e.  For septic tank cleaning etc.                         Drive options:                    Options available are with electric motors or petrol engines in the following sizes.Honda petrol:   4hp engine with recoil or 5.5hp engine with electric start. Electric motors:   1.5Kw in either single or three phase motors.                                     Installation:                    It is preferable for this pump is  to be installed in a horizontal position.   These self priming pumps require water in the pump case only for the initial pumping operation.   No water is necessary for subsequent pumping when the casing contains water   For maximum efficiency use 3" hose and keep the hose as short and straight as possible.    Note for maximum life of the diaphragm rubber, a distance of 203mm should be maintained for the push rod i.e. between the top of plate item 10 and the bottom of eccentric bearing housing item 15.
